A few months back I was lucky finding a cheap set of pastels (soft coal pastels). They are really nice and soft, great to work with and blend well. Details can be quite hard to make with them so I used my usual black coal pencil to add the eyelids etc.
This drawing of Alba is based on a photo but only for the face expression. I wanted her to be with black hair and dark as she used to be. You can see the photo here. Jessica will always be my favourite celebrity girl I think, she's just so perfect and beautiful.
