The beautiful and talented Korean actress, Jeon Ji Hyun.
This was my project for the weekend. I put quite some hours into the drawing. It's based on this photo: >link<
I wanted to create a special drawing of Jeon as I find her very beautiful and I wanted to portray it in a great way. There are a few things I am not all satisfied with but after correcting and scanning numerous times I decided to keep it like this as I didn't want to make the shading too dark or maybe ruin it. I really wanted to give her big flowy hair as oppose to the original photo which is just black + I wanted to make an original drawing of her. I also changed her shoulder area as I think it looks better this way.
I love her role in My Sassy Girl, as she has the strong dominant side and at the same time she's so fragile underneath it all.
I finally found an amazing fansite of her in English which means I will definitely be drawing her again soon, as I finally have a great picture source :)
