This is a photo I took June 2007. It was one of the worst days of my life but also the day I became a little stronger. Without going into too many details, this photo is special to me. Sometimes you really have to go through a lot to be with someone, though it's hurting you.
I am really happy with how the light falls here, how the arm and body are a little unsharp and the face in focus. It's very unusual for my camera to cooperate so well, as it's a rather old digital camera I have with no possibility of choosing what to leave blurred and what to leave sharp as it's all automatic.
I really hope to be able to afford a good quality camera with the possibility to control focus. It will give so much more possibility with shadows and light, which is what I love the most about photography.
