This drawing is created on some newer grainier paper. I wanted to experiment with fuller shading with her skin especially. I didn't have a clear idea when I started it I just made it and decided on the colours and details along the way. It was fun, as I usually always have a clear idea of the colours and idea before starting a drawing. I just knew I wanted a blonde/light brown haired girl this time with an autumn feel to it.
I feel like she is sending the last kisses of autumn, with the last butterflies. Soon the colours fade and winter comes. I wanted the overall drawing to have a warm feel. The more autumn drawings I create the more I seem to like autumn.
