I can't tell how happy I am to have completed this one. I started it early March and I can't count the hours I put into it. I wanted to make it very real + make a very intense stare of the girl, like she is watching over her rose and don't want anyone to touch it, yet she is still tempting the viewer to want it.
It's one of the pencil drawings I have done I feel most satisfied with.
I used a beautiful girl, Jeanine, from my forum as model for this(same model I used for I am so sorry). The drawing is a combination of her picture and a rose of mine. I changed the left hand position to fit the idea of her holding her rose. A lot of hours also went into the rose as I wanted the details and structure to really show.
