- The sad angel -

This has been my project the past weeks. I feel rather happy with it, both the subject and the way it turned out. I chose to do it in some neutral and weak colours. I wanted the colours to be a bit symbolic, in the way that when you are sad you tend to not see the colours in yourself and your surroundings.
The sky I wanted a bit dark and gloomy, as if it's beginning to get windy and soon the rain will start.

There is so many awful things happening in the area at the moment, seems like the world has gone mad. People are shot and attached for no reason. It makes me scared and it makes me sad.
While drawing this I thought about these issues a lot and I pictured how the angels would look down on humanity and cry for us, because of the way we behave and treat each other. Not to mention the way we treat and misuse our beautiful world and nature.

I used this pretty girl as my model: >link<
