I wanted to challenge myself even more and go really dark and contrasted with this drawing.
In the beginning I wasn't sure how this was going but I felt happier with it as it progressed. The feathers took a very long time and so did the adjustment of her skin, especially the dark side. It's my first time going this dark in colour. I tried to bring a warm glow into her skin and the skies. I find it intriguing to try out these different type of skin tones, it changes so much to the mood with the different nuances.
