- Snow Angel -

This has been one of my most time consuming pieces so far.
I started the drawing in Autumn 05. I remember being rather excited starting this drawing, but as it progressed I had some doubts how I wanted the drawing to turn out, as for background and such. About a year ago I took up the drawing again and decided to make trees in the background. I started drawing the first big tree and somehow felt it didn't look right. The trees were done from imagination, how I think trees should look. Even if I had taken a photo of a tree and tried to draw it exactly I don't think I would have done it 100% realistic. After starting the trees I felt I had somehow ruined the drawing and didn't want to complete it. Then finally I took up the drawing again not long ago and somehow the drawing looked different to me and I actually liked it and felt like finishing it. I even feel happy with the outcome now. I find it rather interesting looking back at the process of the drawing. It has so much history to me as I remember the times in my life when I drew on this one. I think it will remain a special drawing to me.
