I started this drawing Autumn 2006, when the leaves had these beautiful colours. I took a lot of photos at the time of my friend Andy. I used her as model for my drawing. I think there is something bright and happy about it, therefore the title Rainbow Girl. The drawing has gone through quite a bit. I had it lying on the floor near my window and a windy day the certain had touched it and made the pastel all messy. I'm surprised I was able to save it. I am happy I did though as the image stands for something nice and happy, something I want to hold on to.
