- Melancholic Fairy -
This drawing I made as a birthday gift for my sister for her birthday the 5th of May. I wanted to make something unique for her and something similar to my Sad Butterfly Girl as she has been talking about how much she liked that one. I was hoping that I could have used her as the girl but I couldn't get her to pose for me some months back so I eventually went with a picture of myself to get the right melancholic expression. The drawing took me a really long time, around 20 hours I think. The fingers and face was really hard to make, cause of the rather small paper size. The satin took me ages too but I feel quite happy with the result and my sister smiled when she saw it so it was all worth it :)
