I feel very pleased with this drawing. It was a big work but I feel I achieved what I wished for. In January this year I was browsing DA and found this photo, which made me fall in love with the motive and the comforting atmosphere. I asked the owner of the photo to allow me to draw it and she agreed. I finally felt it was time to do the drawing, and I am happy I did as it somehow has a great meaning to me. I like the feeling of him protecting her and watching over her, as an angel would. I wanted to leave white space around them as I felt it was most suitable somehow and made it more angelic. The drawing is big which made it a rather time consuming drawing.
