This has been a project of a few weeks. I couldn't complete it all at once because it's very big and there were so many details to complete. It's not my usual smooth paper I worked on here which made it harder to make the dark areas come through, meaning I had to build many many layers for it to turn out as I wanted. Very time consuming.
When I did this drawing it put me back 1,5 years, at the time I had just lost my home. I did a drawing, The forgotten, which is actually the same model used. I feel it has the same mood to it. This silence and loneliness. It's not how I feel today as things are much different from back then, but it's interesting how drawings can put you back in time just by looking at them.
