- The Choice -
While doing this drawing I was thinking a lot about all the choices you take in life. How even the smaller ones has some kind of influence and change in your life. I’ve done that mind game a lot of times and it’s actually helped in a way. When I regret a certain choice, I sometimes go back in time thinking about what else I would have lost or missed if I didn’t take that particular choice(and with that the possible hurt), how everything seems to lead to the way my life is today. Even if you have regrets about some things it can somehow ease the feeling when you think about what else came out of it. So even the tears and hurt has some kind of meaning. I used to regret all the time when I was younger, as it seemed everything I did lead to tears and hurt. But something changed the day I stopped living up to others expectations, my imagined expectations I thought everyone had. I started living for my dreams instead.
So I guess with this piece I want to say; choose your own destiny, live for your dreams, it’s your life. And whenever you take a choice you regret, think about all the good things which came out of it too…
