smooth drawing Lisa. the shadings and its highlights are nicely done. the only thing that bothers me a little is he has no collar bone showing below her neck area. but that might just be the reference.

You did a great job on the shading It's really great and the hair looks awesome. The only thing that bothers me a bit are the eyes. They feel a bit too small for her face and her left eye seems a bit smaller than the right one. I do believe it's a great drawing

thanks sinzi! the eye bothered me, too but now, I can't really change them anymore. I'll keep it in mind for my next drawing though.

it's amy winehouse! I'm not a fan of her drugging and such, but think her music is awesome. I kinda like her style cause it's unique and 100% recognisable. both musically and in terms of her looks as well.
I chose the reference picture because it's a rather unusual one with her pulling her own hair and mic, sort of and not looking into the camera. she looks like she's lost in the music, her thoughts or simply the moment and I like that. makes me think she's totally devoted to what she's doing there.
one good thing about this drawing was that I didn't have to worry much about the hair
what's more, I didn't blend much in this picture, only her face. I thought it would add to the drawing in a positive way, not making it look too perfect. cause that's not what she looks like anyway with her skinny arms and her hands looking at least one size too big for her body.
