There is some mighty good definition in there. Just a warn: don't overdo the style of the hair. It is a very realistic portrait; you have to match the hair, otherwise the one will dominate the viewers pull over the other. Make that subtlety in her hair too. Make areas and stretch out in lines from out those areas. The progress of our right hair is just that subtlety and contrast balancing you gonna need.

mike, i understand that i should have the same kind of subtelty on the hair. what do you mean by "Make areas and stretch out in lines from out those areas" though? |

Like on the right side: Make the back hair area right below the face line really dark. Then as you go down, you're revealing more and more strokes and go lighter and lighter.... as if the hair is coming into sight. Do the same trick with big hairstrands that fold over another part of the hair. The hair that is in front is the most visible and more light. That way you create contrast and play within the hair.
