Default Need help with this pic

I need some help starting this drawing. I usually outline the face first but this one is hard to get started. Does any one have any suggestions?

Here's the pic... sorry it's kind of big

I would outline first, like you normaly do, then the eye's, nose mouth, skin and facial hair, hair on his head and cloths, and last but not least darken and bring back the highlights, some thing like.

i'd do what Dave said! if you really don't know what to do, you can always use a grid! i find it helps with proportions very much!

Lovely picture

Looking at your name I see you like Lost. Do you think you could help me with an interesting photo of Charlie? I have to draw him but I want something special with something in his eyes. Not just a regular smiling one. I would really appreciate it if you could help me out.
