Default Skintone in colour drawings?

How many colours do you guys usually use when doing the skin in a colour drawing? And what colours do you usually use?(ofcourse that depends on the refrence photo)

I just drew my first colour drawing, but I feel like I used to many colours, and I dont really know wich colours to use...

It differs from a portrait to another, sometimes ligthing changes considerably the color of the skin. Every skin tones are unique, so that's why you must be very careful with the amount of blue, yellow and red that you use.
Blonde people(I'm talking of real blonde) usually have a rather blue and pale skin like that little girl.

People with dark complexions may also have more green, brown and yellow in their faces, like her:

See, there is a lot of green, yellow and orange on her skin.

There was only examples to show you how skintones differ from a person to another... I seldom use that skin color pencil, it's rarely realistic on someone's face, unless you blend it with many other colors. Good luck

I think Sarah put it well, depends on the person. I usually use the light pink, (pig-colour) along with light brown and a little purple and grey. I try to avoid yellow and orange as it can be hard to make skin look realistic with these.

It depends... in my robbie williams portrait I used yellow, orange, pink, green, light and dark brown.
