I use a pencil
 :P but I think most use charcoal... but then again I am not Teh Pro... I am just here to spam the forums :P...

I usually use my B pencil, sometimes a little darker, like a 3B. I rarely ever use anything above them.

I actually have no clue what I'm talking about so I just put down some nonesense... because I was bored... but I haven't got the faintest Idea since I only use Pencils I stole at my latest visit to the IKEA...

I usually use an "Ebony Pencil". It's really smooth and really dark. The only down side is the shine from the graphite, but matte finish spray fixs that right up.
Sometimes for backgrounds i use charcoal too..
