Last night I watched 'The League of Extraordinary gentlemen', and I wondered what's with the woman-involvement, then?

the illusionist..wow one of my favourite movies. seen it three times now and still can't get enough of it. oh and for others who're about to buy the dvd: don't watch the interviews because edward norton without black hair and beard...that takes away all the mistery of the character and so of the film

The Illusionist's an amazing movie indeed Have you seen its competitor, the Prestige? It's much less mysterious than the Illusionist as it's mainly about the actual way of doing these trics, but I think it's definitely worth to see
As for the Illusionist.. I love that trick with the glove-birds in the beginning! And I love the ending...

Anyway, I watched Stay Alive last.. or more like.. I pretented to watch.. I hated it, I hate when people are watching under the table in a freaky scene and I hate when it goes pitch black if something freaky approaches..

haha such a coincidence! Yeah i've read most of Carry Slee's books on primary school and at home Yeah the acting was a bit off, but that Jordi dude did the best and most convincing acting if u ask me...
Now of to 'Timboektoe' the movie, ive read the first three books and they said they've put the four books in one in that movie..
Hopefully this time they'll have some better actors/trices lol

PS: my dad had a gastrole in Afblijven haha, he was the greyish doctor who took the stretcher with Melissa on it, from the peramedics

Oi awesome How did he get there?!

I haven't watched Timboektoe yet and actually I never read the books. I lost sight of Carry Slee's books after Kappen! in 1999 and started to read in different genres
