I think that some practise with the basic structure of the face would help you.

The face is divided into segment, left and right, top and bottom. And all the features of the face, the eyes, nose, mouth ears etc

here are some links which may help:

hmmm here is what I know,

Draw the head [ a basic "egg-oval" shape.
The eyes are half way down the fave, you should be able to fit five eyes the same size across the face.
The nose is half way down from the eyes, to the chin.
The mouth is half way down from the nose to the chin.

Default how to draw faces

Right now im reading a book called drawing with the right side of the brain and this book has taught and improved my drawing skills alot. One thing it has taught me that has helped me out a lot is when you are darwing a face don't look at the whole face just look at the part you are drawing. And dont get a picture of what the face is soposed to look like just draw what you see a good way of doing this is drawing the face upside down. Hope that helps
