Default What paper is best for pencil Drawings?

Can anyone tell me which type of paper they find best for doing portrait pencil drawings?
I live in the U.K and mainly use Daler-Rowney skeching paper 95g/m2 (what ever that means ) and i find it a little too rough and it's slightly off white which i don't like but i cant seem to find anything better

Can anyone help

Thanks
eric

bristolsmooth is the best iv used, and i know alot of people like Brian Duey use it also. But heres a tip- always always buy High Gm paper. it means its thickness basically, the thicker the better, its easier, and more meaty haha
its also really smooth but it is expensive :S

I've got some Fabriano Hot Press paper being sent to me next week. I will try it out and let everyone know how it is. Alot of people like Arches/Fabriano papers.

I recently bought this paper pad:

It's the best I have tried so far. It allows you to draw very dark without the pencil strokes being too shiny. It's not totally smooth, but it still very good to work with.
I usually like thin paper better than thick one.

Zindy, you should try some Bristol Smooth paper. I think you'd like it.
