I like them! Maybe a little bit more shading around the eye, so it doesnt look so plain.. If you know what I mean.. But they are great as a cartoon eye!

W*I*P*:: My brother, when he was 13, he's 25 now

Shadows are a "little" rough, I need to smooth them out. I just dont know how to do noses and mouths, and I am not too good at 3-D can anyone help me?

Well, I know! The shadings are a little hard to get right.. But you'll learn! Try to buy a "stompf". (I dont know if you spell it in that way) Then you'll get more smoother shadows.. Or, if you doesnt have a stompf, use your fingers! I have also seen a girl use toiletpaper.. I think that might work..
Or try to lighten up the hand movement.. If you know what I mean?

I hope you'll get som better advices from someone more experienced.. I've only been drawing for a year using shadows and things..

And YES, the nose and mouth is VERY hard to get right!

Good luck with your nice drawings!

yay finally seeing work! , ok, i think its great we finally see work form you- and i liek ur Avatar btw.

on ur eye ball, try not to go over board with the eye lashes, and try and make the iris (coloured part) more rounder?, as the pupil, as they are always round, they dont change shape- only the pupil gets larger and smaller, but still circualr, hmm perhaps go darker in palces? not all one shade- and make the outline of the iris bolder, it does look really nice, and its the correct shape- you have all the details and proportions almsot correct-dont think im being picky please? lol.

nice anyways!

No. Your NOT picky! Ha ha, really... your glad to see my drawings...? I have a lot of drawings, but basically they are all the same things. So I really try and go through the things that I haven't posted and that aren't the same things as most of my drawings. I've only been drawing for about a year, and haven't really drawn much, usually I start a drawing and dont finish... I have trashed some of the drawings I finished. I'll post the Ref. picture of my brother so you can see.

Thanks for the tips, I like drawing the eyelashes heavy, but I dont when I try and make it realistic, because, I know that just makes it look fake.

Using your fingers? I hate that, it makes it look dirty, and then you have to wash your hands after everytime so that you don't get it all over that drawing. I usually don't blend my shadows, is that weird? To shade I do a rough shading job, then go with the tip of a much lighter to make it look smooth. But that is only with the dark shadows. With the lighter, I tend to use JUST the light one.

Ok, I'm going to stop writing. My hands are tired ...!
