Default *New* drawing on page 4!!

Um. This is Julia Stiles. I drew several portraits before I got my new pencils. And this one was the best one. So I'm posting it.

Then this is my first drawing that I did using charcoal pencils and tortillians, which are hot. :P It's not of anyone famous. Just some random girl from a magazine.

This is my second. It's of Kelly Osbourne.

This is also of a random girl from a magazine.

THE END (for now).

I can't seem to get the skin to look smooth; I think I need one of those big tortillian things; I don't remember what the big ones are called. Any other suggestions? Comments are awesome. But go easy. I'm a newbie. omg. haha.

Hi Leslie. Welcome to the forums

I just saw your drawings and one thing is clear to me - you have a talent for drawing. There are just a few things i would change. First you need to try to fix the proportions like in the drawing of Julia Stiles, the lower part of her face seems to be a litt too wide, if you know what I mean. Same with the drawing of Kelly Osborne.
The charcoal drawing looks nice. It's not easy to blend and smoothen the charcoal in the beginning but you already did a good job with it. I like the drawing.
The last drawing looks very good. I would only work out a little more details on her hair (darker and brighter parts). This would help to make this - I don't know the word - "earring thing" a bit more relistic and shiny. At least it would be more visible.
Just keep on drawing. You did a very job already.

I like them. How long have you been drawing?
