Default Hey you, come inside

Hahahaha, got you to view this thread!! I have been downloading a bunch of songs lately and I am running out of ideas as to what to download. I was wondering if you guys could suggest me some music to listen to. I really like 80's music so if you know of any good 80's please respond. You can suggest anything though, I like tons of different music. Thanks.

Thank God none of my friends are members here (though they all love your work Zindy ). They'd be freaked if they knew I had knowledge of 80s music .....

Have you got any Led Zeppelin songs, Aerosmith, Guns 'N' Roses, erm I think Pearl Jam started in the late eighties ... I really only like rock so it's all I can suggest
Bon Jovi is good especially Livin' On A Prayer. It's My Life is good too but thats 90s...

Hope someone else can be more helpful ...

Brian, I would definitely suggest Britney Spears ;)
I am mostly into RnB and pop and soft Rock, like Goo Goo Dolls. At the moment I am really into Nellys new song - Over and Over, so sweet :)
I don't know much of 80's music and I don't like it all that much. But you could try Lene Marlin and Anne Hvidsten, not that they are anything like 80 music at all but I don't know what else to suggest.

Dont know much 80's music but right now I'm listening to:
Jamie Cullum - twenty something
Damien Rice - O
Akon - Trouble

And I am always listening to Nas, namely Illmatic.

Ok, here are some I like some of them, but they all just came to my mind:

Pat Benetar, Spandau Ballet, America, Kool & the Gang (Too Hot), Thompson Twins (Hold me now), Wang Chung (Dance Hall days), Huey Louis & the News, Steve Winwood, Tears for Fears, Simply Red, Stray Cats, Level 42.

Not first choice I think, but a beginning.

if you ike 80's music (depends if you like more of the 80's pop or rock/metal) if you like more of the pop maybe you should give gwen stefanis solo carrer a listen. her cd L.A.M.B. is really 80's sounding, some of them sound a little no doubtish too. some good ones that sound more 80's from it are "cool" "crash" "the real thing" "serious" and "danger zone". i feel like a music reviewer , but it's a pretty good cd. other than that one of my favorite songs right now is the killers-mr. brightside.
