Default Bloometje's work - New drawing on page 19!

Hey there!

I've started to draw just recently, and the drawing I'll post is the second one I've made in my entire life, so please be gentle! I was rather proud of it myself, although I still have to work on the hair a bit. I could use loads of advice from all of you, so I can improve myself. Well, here it is:

I had to photograph this one because it was far to large for a scanner (A3). That might cause some weird spots on the drwing due to the light.
Tell me what you think of it

Your second drawing??? Wow!
It's amazing how you are not scared to use real black in your drawing. Most people who start drawing don't do that. It's a very lively drawing. There is not much to say. I would only change her eyebrows. They look a bit square and flat (don't know how to explain it). And maybe the part between her nose and her mouth is a little to large. But that's all I can say.
Looks very very good! Hope you are going to post more of your work.

wow... Keira Knightely right? It's good. Especially since you're not very experienced. Alot of people who have been drawing for ages wouldn't have been able to make it so recognisable.
Constructive criticism (always the hard part): The upper lip is a bit too large.. but I haven't seen the photo in a while. Maybe you could post the ref? I think once you've worked on the hair more it will look even more fantastic!
Great job

this is very good you got the talent, so keep drawing and you will turn into some amazing artist but can i give you a tip? try to draw the eye brows with hairs, dont color it black. if you try to use lines to shape it, it will turn out more naturaly You forgotten to draw ayelashes to :P or the hardly visible... try to draw them to

Thanks for the feedback all of you!
Yeah about the eyebrows. In the picture I used they were flat as well, so I thought it would do no harm to do that the same in the drawing. Perhaps I should have drawn them with hairs.
And I know that the part between the upperlip and nose is too long, I tried to hide it a bit, but obviously it didnt work :P!
And the eyelashes...they're were hardly visible on the picture as well, so I decide not to make them too noticable on the drawing as well. I might just draw them in.
AND the hair. It's been my fruistration for ages (well ages, I just started drawing, but you knwo what I mean), so I'm quite proud of what I did now, although I know I can improve it. I suppose I'll just practise it over and over again, so it wil look better next time!

And thanks to all of you, for the sweet at most flattering comments!
Here's the pic:

That's just amazing, it's hard to belive you just started drawing. The only thing you need to work on is the proportions, if you got that right your drawing will be just great I think. You sure got talent :)

Hey there!
I have some work in progress here, it's Keira, again! I've had this pictuse on my computer for ages and I love the schadows on het face, so I couldn't resist.

I've bought new paper, A3, 160 g/m2, and it isnt as equal as the paper I used before, so I should live with it, or find a new way to make things more equal, perhaps any of you could help me with that!

Here's the drawing:

Feed back is most appreciated!
