Helena: I think it should have more shadows, for example on the shoulders and the hat. Then there are many strong lines in the persons face. Looks a little cartoony to me but, hey! We all do different, dont we?
If the picture is made without reference I think the person who made it have nice fantasy

is that first picture Ingrid Bergman? It reminds me of one of those old movie actresses like in the maltese falcon or something. The picture of the eye is really good also.

Helena: Tell him he is improving a lot I think the eye looks very liquid and nice with the highlightnening effect
