Default Alba madness

Another alba pic.

I think it worked out pretty okay. I added some more shading in compared to my previous one. Allthough the scanning process made it more unclear.
I did not dare to draw the hair yet.

Any comments?

I like the drawing Tappish, good proportions, and it really looks like Jessica!! nice. What size of paper are you using?
And what pencils, I advise you to get out a darker pencil for the hair, like Zindy said before the hair is darker.
One tip, you can use your finger to blend the pencil marks and make the skin look smoother, if you want that look.
I know what you mean about the scanning, I have the same problem.
Cant wait to see the finished product. :P

tnx man.

I don't really know what paper I use. I bought a drawing block. It has A4 120gram paper in it. Is that what you mean?

I used pencils from hb - b, 2b, 4b, 6b. I don't have any others (yet).

Hi Tappish.
You have captured her face perfectly. I particularly like your style of shading, especially around the eyes. As Dregot says, a darker pencil for the hair is needed - 7b or 8b. A4 is a good drawing size, but I prefer A3 which gives you more freedom and allows more detail.

tnx a lot.
Well, my style of shading at the eyes, was "borrowed" from zindy's eye tutorial.
Anyway, maybe its time to buy me some darker pencils. Guess I have to learn how to draw hair eventually...

The drawing is really good! You've got her expression very well. Work a bit more on her eye brows, they are a bit to thin near the middle. They are very caracteristic on her, in my oppinion. You've got the eyes just right.
