Contest: Drawing Eachother Fairytales

About and Rules:

This contest is a combination of the 2 winning themes; Fairytales - Drawing each other.

We pair up and do a portrait/drawing of our partner. It can be everything from realistic portraits to fantasy portraits, mixing the fairytales into the drawing as well.
However you choose to portrait your partner is up to you, though it might be a good idea to talk to your partner about which style you do it in beforehand, maybe just to avoid disappointment.
Note: If you take part in this contest you agree to do your part, as it's not fair to your partner not to.

The Prizes and Categories:

The prizes will be given in 5 different categories. We all vote for our favourite in each category at the end of the contest.


The categories are as follows:

● Most Realistic Representation - How recognizable is your partner in your artwork? This is the category for most realistic and traditional artwork.

● Most Creative Representation - How creative are you when it comes to depicting your partner? This could very well be in your normal style if you are a fantasy artist.

● Most Abstract Representation - Something you haven't seen a 1,000 times before, this isn't your typical portrait.

● Most Compatible Pair - This is given to a pair that has managed to put their themes together. Their individual artworks compliment each other as a whole.

● Honourable Mention - This goes to a single person who has, despite skill level, done their best and has shown something special in their efforts.

You submit your artwork by sending it to me in in a PM or email and I will post them in the thread.

If you haven't found a partner yet please write you name as a participant and we'll put everyone together. You are also welcome to PM the person you'd like to pair up with and talk about it.

maybe you could also pair up people by drawing/painting styles?
