Title means "Your smile lies to me" and it comes from the lyrics of "Du schweigst"from Panik. I love those guys!

You smile and all cameras turn to you. I see you on a magazine and you make me believe that everything in your life is perfect, as perfect as your smile. But I know who you are and I know the truth: you smile, you fear and you cry just like everyone, just like normal people. Despite your smile, you also have feelings. Your smile lies to me.

After so much time doing this, I don't know very much what to say, seriously. I just have to say that those reflections you see in the right side of his hair do not exist, my camera did it. Oh, and it's A3 size.
It's weird I have nothing to say because I always have a lot to tell about a drawing but I don't feel like doing it this time...

I did the drawing on the right for a contest on DeviantArt where we had to do a drawing with the same reference picture of something we have done before and watch our evolution.
I gave it the title of "Du Has(s)t mich", which comes from the amazing song "Du Hast" by Rammstein. The double quote comes from a play on words Rammstein do in their song, with "Du hast mich" (You own me) and "Du hasst mich" (You hate me).

It doesn't matter if you love or hate him, he doesn't care about what you think... but it's impossible to not feel something about someone so unique.

I dedicate this to Catz. I didn't forget I promised you my first drawing when I "got back" would be for you. So, here it is, I hope you like it!

I'm quite happy with this drawing live but the photo... it just sucks, it has light everywhere and makes shadows that don't exist and you can't see the details. For example, the jacket REALLY looks like leather. And the hair, it's not a big amount of black, I did it thread by thread. Anyway, I like it live, that's all that matters. I really hope you like it too, I spent so many hours on this I already can't remember how long it was.

I seriously think I should call this "dear scanner, why do you like to kill my drawings?" --' But anyway...
I don't have very much to say about this one. I start working on it right after finishing my last drawing.
Live it doesn't look so black, you actually can see shades on his shirt but anyway, I don't know how to improve my scans.
This time, dreadlocks weren't fun to draw. Not at all. They took me a long time and patience to do. I was going to work on a drawing of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow next but oh no, no way I'm going to draw dreadlocks again now. Maybe in a few weeks.
I think I'm going to draw a vampire for Zindy's contest next. At least I hope I'll be able to come out with something good. Wish me luck!
