Hi Zindy & everyone
I really need help with drawing hair in pencil I wanna it to look realistic & Zindy , I really like how u draw blond hair , really awesome so plz , how u draw it ? I draw pencil portraits usually , but I wanned to try charcoal , I bought it but I couldn't draw with it properly , what shall I do then ? Thnks in advance |

If you are starting out with charcoal I wouldn't recommend starting out with blonde hair. It can get very messy and you will most likely end up with darker hair. Try out some dark hair instead, charcoal is perfect for it.
Generally when drawing light hair shade lightly. Use many thin strokes and add some darker areas where there is some depth (hair overlapping each others). Might be a good idea for you to follow your reference closely if you are just starting out, study how it looks like and where darker areas should be drawn. |
