Your contrasts are well balanced, the sophistication and resolution is good, but you might want to work on tones with subtle flow and local details.

i used to do the same mistake with lashes. just stare at your eyes for awhile and notice how they change direction as they go from one corner to the other its not necessarily going up. for example my upper lashes are going down. if you know what i mean my eplanation sucks...

it's been a while but I'm back with some drawings yeeey ^^

so, the first one is a WIP which I couldn't finish yet.. it's a very personal peace and finishing it, will kind of end a chapter in my mind. this person is a special one from my past which is why I chosed that title^^

this one is the birthday present for my mother.. it's a bit too late since it was on march the 19th the hair was kiiiiiilllling me and it's a bit rough because I lost my motivation during drawing ^^

The drawing of your Mum is great, her expression is very interesting- she has that look in her eyes... cool!

The amazement one is very well shaded I think and just very pretty .

For the first one I suggest some more blending or finder shading so the skin looks smoother- right now the transitions between the different shades are a little bit too hard for my taste. I'd also suggest a little bit more contrast, maybe you can add some brighter highlights and darker shades or make the pants a lot darker than the skin .

thanks a lot! but 'curls of time' was FOR my mother, so it's not actually her in the drawing and with the first one... I'm still considering what to do with it I think I might just let some time past before I finish it

I really like it. Like the proportions. Just a bit of advice, as someone who uses a lot of strong black in her drawings, try circling in the darkest black areas. I find for myself, it makes the outcome much for even and less streaky. But that's just me
