Unhappy Here in Japan

I'm sure that most people are aware of the horrors that are going on in northern tokyo. It doesn't look to good for the people here. Thankfully for me, I'm not near the chaos, but a lot of my friends up north are.

It would be great to have your prayers for us here in Japan. So many people need it...I heard the death count will be up to more than 10,000 from the tsunamis, earthquakes, and fires. The rate doesnt count the nucular reactors. Too many are already exposed and are radioactive. One is under control, but the other 5 arent, I last heard.

Please pray for Japan

It's just so awful. They are always in my mind and I hope the horror will end soon. I'll keep them in my prayers and thoughts.

I thought you were from Africa?!

Oh my, I hope you're alright! 10000000 times above the MAV/MAC near the reactors. Gives me the shivers.

It was very scary, I remember seeing it in the news the morning after. There were a lot about it in the medias for about a week or two and then you basically heard nothing.
I wonder how things are now, living in the area.

This is such a huge ongoing issue but as Zindy said, you don't hear any news reports about clean-up progresses or what is still happening with the reactors anymore.... even though we know that the Japanese people are far from being returned to their normal daily lives. I keep Japan and the rest of the world in my thoughts every day.... as we all are on a brink of definite unknowns.

It's such a pity, I'd really like to hear about it just once in a while to hear how it's going. A few really sweet women did a fundraiser for Japan a few months back and it was quite successful. It's really wonderful that it's still in some people's thoughts.
I can't imagine if something like that happened in Denmark. Most people can't imagine having to leave their home and even lose everything you own.

I heard last night that there was another earthquake... 7.6 magnitude, I think it was.... strong enough for Japan to issue a tsunami warning. At the time of the report that I saw, there had been no reports of injuries.
Unfortunately I also watched a news report of another nuclear reactor on the opposite side of Japan that is in trouble.... I am finding that I am just shaking my head as I walk through my days... not understanding how the Japanese people can recover when disasters are imminent or still happening to them... or how the world might recover from it all either. ...and how do you not think about it?

Really, that is sad

It's so very frightening whenever it has so do with nuclear and it sure must be hard to have a normal everyday life with the threat being there and the accident still so clear in their memories.

Default Time Table

When if any, is there going to be real turnaround as far as the nuclear reactors go? I do not want a Chernobyl on a very populated island.
