What is 'beauty' to you?

beauty is in the eye of the beholder. what you see as beautiful and what i see as beautiful are most of the time completely different. so its what is in the soul of the person looking that makes it beautiful.

When I was a kid I never took notice of physical appearance. It just didn't exist in my life. One other thing that didn't exist in my life was darkness. I assumed that everyone had good souls and it ended up causing me a lot of hurt.

There was a girl in my school. None of the other kids wanted to play with her because they said she was ugly. "Ugly?" I thought, "what's that?" I felt it was wrong of the other kids to treat her like that and I befriended her. My love for her was genuine. The irony is that the same girl then taught me that ugliness was me. The negative self-image has stuck with me ever since (although it has gotten better over time.)

I learned that not everyone has the best of souls and I learned it the hard way. Now that I know that darkness does exist I have become a better judge of character. You know how they say the eyes are the window to ones soul? I think that's very true. I always look into people's eyes to get an idea of who they are.

If you have a beautiful soul you will look beautiful to me.

well. I agree that people could be rough sometimes. I like beautiful things like living nature, strong waves in ocean, birds singing and all kind of beauty what likes to our eyes.
Beauty seems to be around us, I have noticed. And I love beauty

Beauty is found in many ways- body, face, nature, souls, personalities, and many more- we all chose different ways to see it. We open our eyes to the way our hearts, and minds are. So we can count all the stars and state meanings of beauty but soon run out. As someone stated before 'Beauty is all around us' and people dont even seem to acknoweledge the gifts Jehovah, God, has given us. The most precious of beauty can be the smallest things that we treasure... Like that saying, whats it say... "A man junk can be another mans treasure." Ones form can be beautiful compared to another person, but, I believe, the beauty that is found in a person is their personality. How they treat others, how they treat themselves, trustworthy, careness for other people, the qualities of humans is the richest beauty of them.

Beauty to me depends on the character of the person not his appearance.

To me, beauty is about comfort. Those people who are maybe not inherently the most attractive people, but are comfortable with themselves, and confident in their abilities as far as intelligence and socialization, etc., become very beautiful. I also think that personality plays a huge role in beauty. I lose count of the number of times I've found someone more attractive based on his or her personality.
