You can take multiple images, and take little bits and pieces from each image that you like - and combine them all to create something entirely new. There are accounts on Dev Art that post up examples of old postcard photos, which are so old now - the copyright laws don't apply to them any longer, and they are public property. Also i find the stock image section of Dev Art to be helpful for ideas, reading through rules will state what you can and can't do with people's work.

There are some excellent places on Dev Art to find images you are basically able to use in way you wish, as the creators express this in their journals. Let me know if you would like to find these specific accounts and i will gladly post the links up. They really do help out. Eventually after your mind becomes accustomed to how the human muscles work, and fold.. etc - you will be able to draw free-range.

Here's one account, althought they've been met with strife recently. I'm sure it'll get sorted out. Just keep your eye on their journal. Great for anatomy, when the body is in a certain position.

This is a great place, to get ideas and inspiration for poses. She also has a lot of scenic BGs, so that's a bonus.

I love this stock account, because it helps with anatomy - and the poses are also inspirational. A lot of her stuff has been taken down, due to a violation. But the owner has indicated she will be uploading again shortly.

Just as a side note. I often find going to the Deviant Art homepage, clicking the catergories drop down tab, clicking stock images, classical/model - will take you straight to that gallery, so you can view all the images that have been uploaded into this specific gallery. You may find something you fancy there also. Just as long as you obide by the rules of stock accounts. Have fun! and goodluck finding something
