Default Ideas for a drawing

Hi everyone!
I need your help for ideas for a drawing I want to work on.
I'd like to draw a friend I've met a year ago in Germany and give the drawing to her since I'm visiting her next month.

Although, I'm not sure what to do exactly. I wanted something soft, I tought of drawing some flowers around her but wasn't really sure how.
Does anyone have ideas? :/ I want a smooth look in the drawing but also with a nice touch, too show how beautiful that girl is (do you know those people who have a special glow, that you meet and after 5 minutes you can swear you'll always be friends?)
Thanks for the help in advance!

Well then, why don't you represent this "special glow" of her by some soft light effect emanating around her ? Like in these photos with a twinkling background.
That's only one of the many things you can do, of course, but I think it may correspond to what you're looking for.

I don't know, I was thinking of something not so direct, more soft and simple. I just don't have any concret idea --'

I'm very curious how the drawing turned out...can you post a link?

I have a friend exactly like that and I'm thinking as well of doing something as you say for her birthday next month, would be nice with some ideas.
