This is a witch drawing I did of my friend Teneille- she has such cool photos!
It started out being pencil, then I added black marker and then I coloured it, because I wanted to acheive some kind of comic style. Which one do you like better? Any advice on using markers? I'd love to hear your opinions :)

yeah, maybe I could :) Do you prefer the coloured or the b/w version though? Still not sure whether the colour looks so good...

Hey Haffen,
thanks a lot, that's a huge compliment :). I had a lucky hand that day, usually I can't capture faces that well ;)
Thank you <3

I like the style. It is indeed on the edge of comic, but serious at the same time :)

I love this style because it's semirealistic in the best of ways. I think both versions show a different style. The b&w one seems more comic-like with the bold strokes.
The colored version seems like almost watercolors! I don't have a favorite -- I'd love to see you continue both styles! ♥

thank you Maria :) It was a lot of fun to draw so I might actually try some more, maybe even with markers. And the coloured was done with water colours, so you were right ;)

All of the red drawings were my favorites!

I love both versions of witch too :)
The b/w one looks more mysterious, and color one more cheerful. Eyes in both drawings just perfect, so realistic and so lively.
Want to see more from you, Joane :)

I´m an Fan of b/w drawings but i must say that your coloured one is really great.
The b/w one have a little bit more detail in the Face but you coloured one is interestic and something new.
So i will say, please spendt us some more of your coloured one.
