It's my first attempt to draw a statue. I enjoyed so much, I played with contrasts a lot. I know, maybe the background it's abit unusual but I love the "tao effect".. i think that make less drammatic the impact with the classic statue (hope you understand what I mean.. my English is terrible :p ).

Very nice. You managed the stone texture very well. I think you have the perfect style for that. But I would like to say that very near your edges, especially on the back, in the background is a bit messy; you can see that it is draw out of darker lines than the should-be-black background. ;)

I could keep this very short as you always seem to do and saying: "great work! :) ". But I will add something here :p . I think why you aren't satisfied with your neck. The line is nice, but it is X-offsetted, and X-axis only. It threatens to look she had a too skinny and thin neck, cause the left line is too much to the right. But my first impression is it still fits. So I don't know...

I know, I'm usually concise... I didn't study English at school so it's very difficult for me to write using this language. Sometimes I want to say something but I can't find the right words. I prefer to use short (and comprehensible) sentences. ;) The neck seems too "little"..

I don't know him (who is he??), but you exactly caught his likeness! maybe you should work a bit on the hair, that it becomes a bit darker, but I'd suggest not to exaggerate it or go to detailed, because the drawing has a kind of rough touch which I really like!
I look forward to seeing some other drawings :D

Hi i like your drawing very much its very similar to the pic but i have caught some things that could be better like the shadows in the eyes and in the neck but the most important is the shadow in the eyes cause this shadow will afect proportions making him look younger, if you can change it yet, change that little thing and maybe its looks better. In the other things there is no trouble only in the left hand that doesn't looks so clear to me... well nice drawing and keep drawing like that and better cya
