just an idea: it somehow starts to annoy me that I don't knwo, how old the persons I chat with are...
I don't know if that is only my personal thing but I always kind of imagine the people i write with and when I recently found out that someone who I thought would be younger than me was 6 years older yeah it kinda sucked
.. and I think it would also help to judge the drawings the persons made 'cause a 13 year old cannot be compared to a 20 year old.
perhaps it could be put ehind his name or so :?:

intersting... i like to guss people how they look like and how old they are in truth . yah they are importing for some reason for type of photo what should be put over forums , the level of art for age because i read that each age has a way to see the shapes and feel it as i know that at 6 years old they can't get things that they are 3D . some can't be get be forward and backword .
There some fourm type is can able to see the age of them , gender , what they work

I see your point, but I don't think it's a good idea really. People that would like to have their age shown can add that in their profile somewhere, I think that would be the best.

As Zindy said, add it to your profile.

uh finally some reactions :D
well.. I don't think that everyone's going to add it to his / her profile so it doesn't really make sense if I do so... :(

I agree with Joane, there should be an optional age indicator on your profile where you can enter in your birthday, that's better than entering in your age because then you wouldn't have to remember to update it everytime your birthday rolls around. :)
I'm 25 BTW (oct 2 1979)
I also don't like the idea of starting an "how old are you" thread because I don't want to have to jump back to that thread everytime I forget how old someone is.

i have to ask you this? were you in New Orleans this past year for Mardi Gras? I could swear I met a girl that looked just like you? Probably a long shot, but I had to ask...

I would like to see how old everyone are too.. But it's Zindy's decision. And, I have seen
a lot of children that draws much better then older people. So, if you really can't tell the age from seeing a drawing,
then I don't think it would help you to judge better just because you can see the age behind their names. :D

I agree Wave_Glistening, but just to clarify my point a little further...
It wouldn't be a matter of automatically knowing how old everyone is here (people who want to keep it private can keep it private), it's just a matter of convenience. It's just omitting the step where I ask an artist their age and then have to remember that later. As far as I know that's not outlawed on this page. Really it all comes down to laziness. I have to have a good memory for work and school, here I want to be lazy. :)
