I want to give her very cute cheekbones. Tips anyone?

First of all, yes it's a good drawing for a 13 years old, definitely :)
She looks really cute. I think it would be a pity to give her cheekbones she looks cute as she is but if you have to, try adding very wage shading on the cheeks, just at the top. Another thing, maybe you should shade the top of her hairline (the mid hairline) a little bit too, it looks more natural than all white.

I think your drawing is very cute. But I don't think cheekbones would suit the rest of her face. Looks good as it is :)

I think you should visit a couple tutorials on the net and try drawing more realistic. I totally think you are capable of it. :D

Sarah, I can't tell if your proportions are good or not because of the angle you took the picture. Try to take one with better lighting and head on...so that it's not big at the bottom and small at the top (don't know how to describe...hope you understand). Your eye drawing looks great though.
