Thank you all for your nice comments, I will have an update on my painting tommorow. Here is another COLOR PENCIL, one of 2 commissions that i have to do. Right now im really liking how its coming out.
Nothing of the face is really done, i just added some light colors. I need to darken everything a bit later.

Wow! The first thing i noticed about the painting, is how much distance there is in it. Thats something i always find so hard to achieve. Love the mountain and the highlights reflecting from the sky colours.
And the christmas decoration looks great so far :D

it looks nice but let me give you some tips it looks really realistic but not to be rude or anything but the hair looks really awkward you shouldnt try to make every strand of hair come out, it looks as if shes all stressed out or something i think it would look better most of the strands were going in the same direction insted of all of themsticking out going in different directions do you see what i mean and also the eye look a little bit off

Looks great! Though I have one question... Do you use and undersheet? Cause little smudges seems to be straight and at one level. Most obvious is in the hair; as if you "tripped" with your pencil. It happened to me alot first, so thats why I ask...:roll: ;) . If you do, remind yourself to always work with a bigger undersheet, cause you'll draw the edge in it...

this will be great. it seems like a photo to me. i think cold shiva means, that if you lay something beneath your paper when you're drawing, it isn't lying in a way that it covers the whole drawing. so if you draw, the edges of the sheet becoming visible in your drawing. Although i can't see it in your drawing, shiva is right abouth the way it can ruin your drawing..i have the same problem when i'm really focused on my drawing and the sheet slides away or something, or has a bit of texture what becomes visible when you're smoothing.

i think i know whats up with the purple thing in the previous scan, i put a paper on top of the drawing, so it scanned through.
heres an update, im almost finish, just have to finish the face/head...then i'll try to go over the whole drawing a little bit....I really like how the hands came out, especially the bottom right one.
I'm glad to finish it becuase my next drawing is gonna be Hugh Laurie

Nice new one, you always were good with colour. That's the first thing that comes to my mind when I see your name.. your colour drawings :) I like the new one though I must admit the moment I saw it I was thinking britney, the pose, sunglasses and mouth/nose area reminds me of her.
The drawing has a lot of depth especially on the skin tones.. only thing is the background, I think it would look better if it was more smooth or perhaps has some detailing of sort.. or maybe just some more depth. It just look a little undone to me but I guess that’s just a matter of taste. Nice to see you back :)

Do u find with your paintings that Oils give you a headace or u feel sick after using them??. if not...thats good...

coz i used Water Mixable oils!...sounds a little strange...but they work jst as well. plus i find i can spend hours at a time painting....without feeling light headed. :D
