Man's drawings - New drawing added 14/03/05.

Hi to all you other artists out there! My name is Man and I am a regular visitor on your forum. I was introduced to this forum from my younger brother Ken (aka Sadako) who I'm sure most of you already know! I am a self taught artist and I have been drawing since primary school though I started portraits during my college years 1997 to 1998. Below is my first A3 portrait of a japanese singer called Noriko Sakai using soft pastels and colour pencils. This was done during 1998, took about a week and is my first A3 portrait to make it in my portfolio. She was the first singer I became a fan of when I was younger and I used to collect all her cds, posters and other merchandise. Please feel free to give any comments or ask any questions.

Thanks for all the comments. Here is a coloured pencil drawing I did sometime in 2000. Thought I'd show a drawing of a more familar celebrity. I tried a different style here, more sketchy lines and not too polished.

Thanks for the comments including the one about the weird mouth! Yes I also prefer the first drawing over the SMG one so I'm glad we all agree all this! I wasn't 100 percent satisfied with the SMG drawing so I appreciate any nice comments! Sorry if the drawing looks alittle crooked, it was taken using a digital camera and I might have rushed the photo slightly! Please don't think the actual drawing is crooked because it's not!
