Urg i'm sooo angry! I just drew in internet in page called rate my drawings. I was in drawchat were everybody can come and help you. I was middle of drawing a picture i already drew for 4 hours and some BIT*H came and pulled red line in middle of the drawing! URG! I couldn't delete it anymore because there is an ink limit and ink was almost gone. I want to kill that girl right now sooo badlY!!!!!!!

I don't know what i'm going to after college:((graduating this spring) I want to go to medical school but I don't have the grades to get into one of the top medical schools. I'm thinking that I'm better off getting into a good graduate school and get my master degree and hope that I do good enough to get accepted later into a good medical school. Or should I just I apply to any medical school and hope one will take me.... Life sucks when you have to decide something that will affect your life for so many years:( By the time I finish with all my school work, I'm going to be in my late tweenties ... I really hope it will be all worth it in the end

My neck is killing me!:( I've been drawing all day and now it hurts so badly. Tomorrow is another long drive to my psychologist? What's the word?:D. It would be good thing if I wouldn't have some sorta allergy for driving. Every time me and my family go somewhere I am just so sick but only inside the car. So it's quite annoying because it makes traveling hard. Last time we had longer driving I threw up in front of the shop. It was quite embarrasing:roll:. Some poor guy wanted to help me but didn't know how:). That was very sweet of him. If you're faint hearted then don't read the thinner text:) After i threw up I looked at the ground at almost got heart attack because it was red. I already thought the worst but thank got it was red only because of those old rasberrys I ate earlier. So now I'm kinda worried about tomorrow. Wish me good luck because I really really need it:).

I know what you mean with the neck hurting from drawing, I get that a lot. I try to remember to have breaks though it can be hard sometimes.

No, i'm lucky I guess that I don't have to do military service. However, because I get financial aid from the government and if our military needs more troops we are the first to get drafted:(.

Sometimes drawing can be succch a trial, and so sickening. It feels like if i'm in this for the long haul, why do i feel so down about the thought of having to sit down, and finish a drawing? Lol. Maybe this wasn't the right profession for me after all... but then again, i really should discipline myself to take regular breaks. I usually just work, work, work until i feel my back breaking.

We had snow here too, it was so fun and magical. I was out running with friends when it suddenly started snowing really fast and hard.. then it transformed into big soft flakes, it was quite magical:) Now we just have grey and rain.. I miss the snow already.

It's amazing how a little grade can scare the crap out of you..... I was in the lab, when our GSI handed back our previous chemistry lab reports that the professor had just graded and all I see is a big fat 0!!!! and written next to it was " Your report looks similar to Long's." My friend's Long report had the same thing written.

Basically, saying Long and I had cheated:shock::confused: I was like, what the ****...we wrote our lap reports separately. The only thing we had similar, was our mechanism solution how the reaction might proceed and only becasue we had worked together on solving it... which is not cheating.

We were both freaking out and nervous as **** when we went to talk to the professor. Turns out, that our professor didn't read the last page of our report where we had acknowledge that we had worked on the mechanism together.:D:D He originally taught that we had cheated from each other and since he didn't read the last page it never came to his mind that we worked together on mechanism:roll:

Cheating at any university is not tolerated at all. Where if you're lucky, you just fail the class instead of getting expelled from the whole school. Eventhough I was innocent.... man was I scared.

but hey, there's a silver lining: did you know that cold water is very good for your hair? in a way it gives it a more even surface and like that makes it look more shiny. and that way it's also more "resistant" (to split ends etc.). :D

I know but it kills my hair :p It definitely doesn't make it look more shiny, in fact, it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks when I wash it with cold water :p AND it makes it feel like straw =.=

I have heard the same thing, how cold water will make your hair shine. What I do sometimes is putting cold water just before I finish and dry the hair, as far as I know that should do it :) No need to torture yourself ;)

I guess it helps when you have talked with the person a lot before meeting him, gives you a feeling of who he is as a person. I was surprised to find so many who had suffered from this or is still suffering. But yeah I've heard that depression is the most common condition out there..
I think that if someone else stepped into my shoes they would feel abselutely horrible. But I have had this for so long, so the feeling i got is rather mellow and neutral. I am ambitious though and i have confident in myself that I will get pass this (even though it has been going on for so long), i guess that is the reason to why I haven't hurt myself yet (intentionally). The only thing I have troubles coping with is the OCD xP it is a really silly condition

i am doing a study for school about that.....

If my girlfriend doesn't doesn't call me or isn't answering the phone, i'll wait for some time. If she still doesn't call me, or doesn't answer the phone, im gonna drive by her house:) But overall im not that distrustful.

I was surprised to find so many who had suffered from this or is still suffering. But yeah I've heard that depression is the most common condition out there..
I think that if someone else stepped into my shoes they would feel abselutely horrible. But I have had this for so long, so the feeling i got is rather mellow and neutral. I am ambitious though and i have confident in myself that I will get pass this (even though it has been going on for so long), i guess that is the reason to why I haven't hurt myself yet (intentionally). The only thing I have troubles coping with is the OCD xP it is a really silly condition

I believe you can suffer from depression even if you have a strong personality. Because sometimes things get out of hand. ;)

But, there surely are lots of people claiming they're suffering from depression every time they feel a little stressed or tired. And that's whining! Or begging for attention.

There is a difference between being depressed and the CONDITION depression..Sounds like the kind of depression you are talking about is more of the temporarily one. The condition however does more then bring you down, it controls your life to 100 %, for a loooong period of time. Being depressed is not signs of weakness. It is something very heavy and it is often CAUSED by a radical shange in life, like child abuse. Not something small like, you weren't allowed to buy that car and now you feel depressed *buhu*, for a day or two.......Mine has lasted for aprox 10 years, the result of an eating disorder, bullying in school BECAUSE of my eating disorder, and a alcoholic father...It affected me at a very young age, and yes you ARE weak at the age of 8. (and to avoid confusion, i have been DIAGNOSED with this, it is nothing i assumed i had by myself)

It is not about feeling sorry for oneself, it is about expressing oneself. You are not contributing anything by bashing on the people here with the condition=/ I am not LOOKING for pity or anything, i just dont like it when people don't set their facts straight before expressing themselves. You will only end up hurting someone.

Sillu - not impressed at all. About anything you say. Your comparison with my shitty things is way out of line and you're totally missing my point. I wasn't saying you are necessarily responsible for what happened in your life (like with me, my colleagues caused his own heart attack? That's a silly comparison that just screams 'bullsht'). I was just saying, fact remains people are darn easily depressed. During the time I've spent here at ZZ, I've heard at least 6 people shout out 'i'm depressed, my life sucks'. Well, hiddi-ha-hoo, what good is that? It's not like THAT'S contributing to society!
Thing I dare put my feet on: lots of shitty things can happen in your life and I can understand they crack you up, but I just feel so terribly sorry for those who give in to everything shitty instead of fighting it. from what I read kaia is seeing a psychatrist. doesn't that mean she is trying to fight it? it probably also means it's serious.

Chart= This thread is called "post your random thoughts", it means you can write whatever nonsense you want, it can be totally useless (like my 533 post, completely useless information that wont do anyone good) or it can be about serious stuff..Like depression. It feels good to talk about your issues, and you can either just sit there and read, and keep your comments to yourself, or you can do what you do Chart, express your feelings and hurt someone on the way. I persionally prefer the first alternative. But you know, "to-each-their-own"...

I agree with you on several points. It is better to fight the depression..But talking about it is a way of fighting it. You may be a strong individual but not everyone is like you. Just because someone can't handle as much **** like you can, it doesn't mean that they are weak. It means that you are strong. Which is a very admirable quality indeed. It seems that you are not fully aware of what the condition depression is about, or what depression does to you. It comes in a huge variation of forms, for some people it whipes out all motivation to anything. And once again i am talking about the condition. The kind that goes deep deep.

I wont start a lecture about this. I have done alot of projects and essays about this condition so I do have alot to say. For someone who has studied about this you are still very ignorant towards the condition. You have seen the visual results of this condition but i am afraid what's "inside" is beyond more painful. And you can never truly judge someone unless you have felt this pain and is ready to form your thoughts from that. Then I could respect your opinions.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But is it really worth expressing yourself when you only hurt people on the way? As it looks like you will only gain one positive thing from this. The satisfaction from expressing yourself, and nothing else. You didn't exactly motivate anyone. As for the cons...Well, making a list would be quite tasteless...

P.S- if you don't like the "negativity" in this thread, break the iscussion and talk about jolly things like that I totally have 544 posts now! And I still can't remember how I got them..I have not been that active at all. A combination of linguistics, cognitive neuroscience and literature. Sounds complicated, but yeah.. don't know how to describe it otherwise!

Well, neuroscience and linguistics are related anyway (psycholinguistics). That together with psychology and philosophy is going to be my major. So, all of these subjects have a connection with each other and together they are enough for me to obtain my bachelor. Get it? :-P
And about literature, I looooove world literature, so I just want to do a minor in that.
I know it all sounds a bit complicated, it's a complicated system, but in the end I just obtain a bachelor of arts diploma with which I can study at many good universities in other countries, which is what I really, really want to do.

Today rained a lot and it was quite slippy outside. And the glumsy me managed to fell on the ground lol. I fell really hard on my hand and it hurts like h-ell! I'm going to see the doctor soon to do some x-rays. Ah, my legs have been so weak for the last few days. I've been falling a lot but today it was quite harder than usual.
As if my bone might be broken ( I really hope not ) I can't draw for a while because the stupid me landed straight on my drawing arm:( BUT I don't want to belive that the bone is broken. I mean there can be a small peace missing lol. It just hurts so much and the painkillers didn't work:(.

Helleeeeuh everybody!! Thought I should let you know I'm still alive :p I've had an extremely busy time - moved out of my parental house in May, went decorating my/our appartment like an idiot (changed everything about 20 times.. :p) and then free time was over and I had to start an extremely chaotic internship, combining that full-time job with drawing commissions, designing, restyling my portfolio, keeping my skills up to date, taking extra courses in graffiti and airbrushing plus making amends for a private course in tattooing (yes, more people think I'm going crazy but I was asked to.. so to be able to come and work as a tattooing artist in a new shop next year :D).. so... let DA and the forums down, and sorry for that!! I promise I'll update my thread (or more) this very week.... maybe even tonight :p

I met a girl two days ago who's same age like me but had a cancer! She recently beat it. I just have so much simpathy for that girl. She's completely bald because of the treatment but she's so happy and so full of life. It made me feel bad how much I've been whining for having a depression while she battled for her life.

Respect for that girl.. Can't imagine how hard it must be, I worked with people who had cancer and seen many adults giving up.. so when a girl that age fights so hard.. respect, really.
I, on the other hand, recently heard a girl (22) from secondary school 'finally' gave up on fighting.. she was first diagnosed leukaemia at 12, had chemo, fought hard, then it came back again at 15, 19 and finally, 22.. but it was too much to fight it again. It was already a miracle when she survived the last chemo and she just knew she didn't have the strength for another.. Also having to rely on her younger sisters with every marrow treatment. So she finally gave up and died a few months ago.. it's a really sad story, she was a very sweet and full-of-life person as well, but happened to have spend most of her conscious life in the hospital.. which is no life at all..

Oh, that's so sad. I couldn't imagine how horrible life she had. But she was *still* very strong.
I'm trying to talk her to come here in the forums. She draws GORGEOUS digital paintings in ratemydrawings (I met her there).

What a sad story, can't imagine fighting it for so many years.
Cancer is such a terrible decease. It's frightening in so many ways because you can't prevent it and it can happen to anyone. I have a friend in USA who's battled this for as long as I can remember. He lost his ability to draw, paint and do his music. It must be such an awful feeling when you loose that too. It must take a lot to keep strong and positive.

I just got back from a small visit. My niece had a small baby boy. His two and a half days old and is so curious:). I love the small boy so much:). It's like his my own son:D.

I started running 3 months ago since college made me get all chubby with all the you can eat dining halls during my first 2 years:tongue:. I gain around 20 lbs (9.1kg).


I'm now back to my original weight from 4 years ago:) woot.. but the funny thing is that when i look myself in the mirror, I still look the same to me hahaha. oh well... at least the weight scale says l lost weight.

Lucky you! I wish there were some great running places here, I don't like running on the main streets with lots of cars and people. I miss my old place, near a beautiful lake, I needed my run every day to feel great and inspired. I really need to get back to that somehow.

Jeanine, still we have beautiful sunshine and lots of beautiful autumn leaves... but I think the snow will fall a bit soon, usually does and then wait till after Christmas to really snow. Sound sweet though - a snow pumpkin :)

I am getting back to drawing these days, been some busy weeks. It's incredible how much you miss drawing when you don't have time for it!

@Zindy - How you feel is so understandable.. sometimes it's seems so nice to be sick a few days and just lie in bed and sleepm, but once you are, there's nothing you want more than to feel good again.

@Kaia - May I ask how tall you are? Well, I know it's all medical stuff, but what's most important is that you feel good.. so I hope getting rid of them will make you feel better soon ;) Do remind that a lot of people gain some weight after summer ;) And that's a good thing ;)

it's a recipe for a liquid chocolate really easy to make
ingredients
300 gr sugar
250 gr powdered milk
125 gr butter
2 soup spoons cocoa dust but I put 3 and a half :)
1 vanilla powder (here in bulgaria it is on little packets like 5 or 10 gr )


making:

in 150-200 ml boiling water (it depends on the quality of the powdered milk )
put the sugar and mix while it melt then put the butter and wait while it melt
in another deep cup mix the cocoa dust the vanilla powder and the powdered milk.
the mixture of the butter and the sugar pout out in a thin spurt while mixing wildly :D

the final mixture must cool down then put it in the fridge where it gets more thickly :)
