Just some more work on kelsey's portrait. I Messed up her left eye with the lashes so im going back to fix them and underneath her lip there's a bit too much light. I love her hair though....its taking forever but seems to be worth it.

This is a copy of amy browns work from her "imagine" calender for the year of 2007. I know we shouldn't copy another's work but i just love the way she does the wings and i wanted to try to work with it using graphite.

This is a print i made out of zinc using a metal tool to scrape inorder to create a printable plate. I then covered it with ink and wipe away a lot of ink with cheese cloth then sent it through a printing press. we were learning about rembrant prints. We made these after a trip to The Hood Museum to see Rembrandt's actual prints up close.

You're making progress. But I think the hair is a bit unclear and somewhat messy. But it is really hard that kind of hair to draw it good. Think you improved a lot since your first post. ;)

i'm not done with the hair yet as you can see and like umm i wass getting really irritated with it...and yeh it turned out messy but i like it still. I feel it is my best portrait.

Well just to let you all know i have fixed her hair im working on it as i type ... well before i tyoped and i will finish it and scan and show. IT deffinetly looks clearer and clean and nicely done. Thanks for the criticism!!!

Okay, So I started this tonight and put about two hours on it by my third scan. I like how its coming along. It's my boyfriend Mason and I infront of Niagara Falls. I've been putting off this picturefor awhile but decided to draw it since I had written a story about it.

I think that it will be very beautifull when you finish it! I already like it very much! How big is the painting? With two person, the waterfalls and the balcony there a lot of details to be done! Keep up!!!;)

well everyone how are you? This evening I bought chinese food and i love chinese food for the fotune cookies. You never know what your going to find. Due to my medical difficulties im dealing with, i was very pleased when i read my fortune cookie. it read "You will remain in good health and enjoy life"
it doesnt get much better then that.
