Usually yes. But these new I bought some days ago feels really strange. Can be that I only tested them on the current drawing though. The papersurface may be damaged.

Here's mine, good topic by the way. I always kind of wondered where you guys draw. I just bought the table on the right a couple days ago. Personally, I need everything to be very neat and clean. Before I start a drawing I always spray down my table and clean it. I have a pretty big bedroom so everything is in there. That's my bed to the left.

what papersurface?
The papersurface on the drawing. I have been drawing on it for a long time and the paper cant take to much "voilence" with the pencils. That might be why they seem strange. They may work a lot better on fresh paper.

I don't really have a workspace like that.. I just have my map in wich I keep all my drawings and take one out and lay it on and draw where ever it's comfortable  ..

Yes, I realized that after I took the picture :) I still think it's amazing to be able to take a little look into the rooms of other people all over the world. This thread is really a good idea.

I like my table because the back tilts up so that I can have it at various different angles. I can tilt the table almost to verticle. Orlando, yours is like that too isn't it? The table I had before this was flat and it really messed with my proportions like that. Everything in the drawing would be longer than it was supposed to be drawing on a flat surface.
Nina du Preez
01-24-2005, 09:11 PM
it is rather cool to see everybodies workspaces...
my table can also be set to any angle I want... it is really a must have when you draw lots...
Anyhow.. the reason I am drawing a naked person is because thats what I am working on at the moment, its a commissioned piece, one of three..

Surprisingly no, they don't cost alot of money. At least mine didn't. I got mine for $40 (don't know the euro converstion) from office max. I got it last week, they might still have the sale going on. I love it so far, the johnny depp is the only drawing I have done on it so far but I was able to draw it on a bigger sheet of paper this time because I have the room. I have seen drafting tables at hobby lobby that look exactly the same as mine for about $200, which is funny.

I don't have a drawing board really, I just draw on my bed usually in front of my mini TV or with some music on.
The pictures are really bad because of my lousy camera but I tried adjusting them in Photoshop cause they were all dark.

This is the computer where i check internet stuff.
http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/5797/tabletv9ai.jpg
Here is where i draw when i have to make a big drawing, for small ones
i can draw then in the computer's table.
http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/4773/drawing012jc.jpg
But i can draw anywhere and almost with any light, thats the convenience
of being colorblind, i have like a cat's eyes. That light is only of the flash.
