I like your new drawings, especially that little girl, she has strong eyes.
I think there are a few proportion mistakes on the first one. Seems like there's something wrong with her lips in the left side. Also, her nostril is too far down in the left side, it would be higher when she holds her head in that position.

you might be right with the mistakes... I did the hurting but helpful check to print both pics out on one page again and I think I have to change some shadings, then it might be better.... I'll repost it :) Thanks for letting me know!

What the photo makes to light, the scanner makes to bright... Think that the drawing is in between the picture and the scan ;)

Just beautiful Helena :shock: I really like it. The colours work so well. One thing I've noticed is that the colours seem to be more blended or smoother somehow. You are improving with colour, I wonder how great you will be in a few years considering how good you already is.
The eyes are so expressive and some of the pearls look real shiny. Also, the reflection in the water looks nice, almost like a twisted painting of a face.
To sum it up – love the drawing ;)

I gotta new sketch. Wanted to do it with color pencils but then the stupide idea came to do it with watercolour. I have only one brush (the one which is in the watercolour box when you buy it), and a box with 12 colour in... ive used 5 I think. Grrr.... this drawing could have been nice and I've made the work I hate most (the beginning ...outlines) already and then the stupid idea came.... anyhow. Only 2 hours I think....

Nice job with the watercolors. But just looking at the picture without ever seeing the ref. it was kinda hard to make out what was going across her face. Maybe get a smaller brush for a little more detail? It still looks good. Nice work.

I like the new coloured one too, although the colours look a bit uneven. It’s great how dark it is, you must have used a lot of your black colour pencil on this piece.

I did a new one today. The reference is from fotocommunity again. To me it has the meaning that the older you get the more you go back to where you came from. In the end you might be like a baby and can't take care for your self anymore. The person who made this photo is working in an house for old people. The goal they have is to be able to drink on their own! This is what they are working for every day.
