I just "finished" this one and wanted to show you. Of course it's not really finished yet, cause I'm still waiting for you comments :lol: !
I know it's not very darkshadowed again, but it's just this way on the photo and I think it suits this look of Mena's.

Wow, i love your style of drawing in the eyes, you capture the light and shadows wonderfully, the nose is great and the mouth and hair, one little thing is the ear parts , the bone and that maybe just put them in otherwise i truely love this picture, ure really good :)

I love the eyes and eyebrows! The light in the eyes and all the details... beautiful! And you caught her likeness! So what if the neck doesn't have much shadow and form? The eyes are a very strong point! :D

You're totally right about the ear part, I had a few problems there beause the photo doesn't show many details here, but I'll work it over again. Thanks for the compliments :oops: , that's really nice.
I'll stop being this lazy and draw a bit more again :D .

Thanks for both the compliments and the tip, I already thought about making a homepage but it takes lots of time (in which I can't draw :( ) and I actually don't know how to do it, but a little gallerie would be a fine thing I think :D !

I'm not sure if I can help you, Ray... I don't know your drawings and unfortunately you can't show them. The only thing I can say is that it's all about looking and seeing! I really look at the pic I'm drawing very intense and try to be aware of every little detail. Of course I'm aiming to make the drawing as realistic as possible and for that you really have to study your model.
I guess you just learn to look precisely enough by training - means: draw, draw, draw!
I'm not sure that tip's helpful in any way, but it's all I can say :( .

Well and another thing: Maybe you know someone (a friend?) who has a scanner, or camera cause I'd really love to see your works, Ray :D !
