what kind of pencils do you use?
Cause the drawings all look so blurry, kind of dirty.

i use a pencil with Nr. 100-HB
it looks kinda dirrty, because of the camera which i use to take a photos from the pictures... i have to boost the contrast then

Hi Sonja,

I had a look at your website and I find it amazing how you capture, mostly Beyonce and Christinas look so great. I read on another post that you only use 20 minutes on each drawing - that's really fast! I like your rough style, it's so far away from mine. Continue your special work :)

By the way... I do think you should try and work a little more on the hair, it looks a little too "unreal" I think.

Am I the only one who really like these portraits?

I think a lot of people on this board strive for realism in a drawing and that's not all what drawing is about, I think :oops:
I'm NOT trying to say you guys may not draw realistic :lol: I also admire people who have the talent to do that, cuz I can't!! lol It's just how you like it the most and since this is a discussion board (it is, isn't it?), I thought I'd bring this up :wink:

Your're not Luna, as I mentioned earlier I like them - they are very special!:) love the rough style, it's so far from my own. Even though I try making my own portraits realistic I admire people who can make something like this, it has got lot personality and it is pretty impressive that she can create something like this so fast!

But I still like your realistic drawings too :wink: otherwise I wouldn't be here of course.
You said that the rough style is far from your own, you also kinda said that about your oil pastel heart you've drawn recently. I think it's great that you try different styles, but the best style is always your own! :)

thanks so much for your replies guys! it makes me feel really happy that some of you like my drawings... actually i do try to make pictures realistic even if it doesn't seem to LOL, and you're right, i'm not as good in drawing hair as you are ... well i adore your drawings, zindy and i wish someday i could make some more realistic drawings as well.. keep on drawing girl!
