Shadows

How du U make the shadows look right ?? Mine always just look "flat" .. Or just look like "lines" .. And it also is but it should not look like it .. How do I do ??

If any can write the answer om Danish I'll whould be very happy .. :D

it would be helpful if you'd post some of your drawings. Then we can see how you put on shadows. Advice: look at drawings from other people, and analize (analyze?) them as much as you can, you learn a lot from that. Also expiriment (?) with a lot of mediums like soft and hard pencils, charcoal, and stuff....

good answer luna...yeah I agree that you should post some of your drawings cuz we can't tell what your shadows look like just from words.

sorry to post again i should've put this in my last post but i was just thinking isn't it amazing that everyone is from different parts on the globe? That's mind boggling to me that I'm in the united states and i can be interacting with someone that's thousands of miles away from me. I don't know maybe i'm just dumb. haha

heheheh im from england, by the way, in america, in tehir lessons, ii have english french, german language lessons, but in america, is therre home language lessons "American" :? yeah- lol- england- the little country where we put HP Sauce onto our Chips!!!! :lol:
