Winter Art Contest 2011

About and Rules:

Winter will soon arrive, I hope it will begin to snow any day now,
especially since pretty much all the leaves have left the trees and everything seems so grey.
I always love when the first snow falls, there is something magic about it.

Do you like winter? What's your favourite thing about Winter time?
Create a piece which shows what you think about winter, could be the beauty, could be the darkness of it,
anything that comes to mind when you hear the word Winter.

All art pieces are welcome, ACEO's, digital, painting, photos etc.

You can enter as many entries as you like, in all categories.

The Prizes:
At the end of the contest I'll create a poll to vote for our favourite Winter pieces.

Most Creative
1 gift certificate on 20$ to use in my shop
Original Eye Painting from Esthi

Most Realistic
1 gift certificate on 15$ to use in my shop

Best New Artist
1 gift certificate on 10$ to use in my shop

Best Photography
This category is for those of you who do photography as well. All photos with the Winter Spirit is welcome.
1 bookmark and 2 postcards from my shop.

Special prize:
I'll choose a special piece of art that I personally like, (based on creativity and who I think
should have a little extra) to receive a little art material pack with the following:
- 1 charcoal pencil (the one I have used for the past 8 years).
- 1 Eraser pen (perfect for fine hairs)

As for the prizes I will add them. I think we vote for our favourites as we did early on but we can make catergories for most creative and new artist if you like too, it sure was a good way of judging the last time I think cause it included more people - experienced as well as new.

A few infos on what I did: I made the dress, hair, body painting and took the pictures =) No post-edit (I have no idea how to do that), I merely placed a blue paper over the flash to create the colour :).
