New Contest - your opinion please

It seems it's the drawing each other theme that wins (or the fairytale theme).

Can you please write your name if you want to go with the drawing each other theme so we can see if there is enough to be paired up.
Please remember if you want to take part in the drawing each other contest you have to do your drawing, as it would be a pity to see anyone get dissapointed like some years back when we had the same contest.

We already spoke of adding our own touch to the drawing and mix it with our own. I think it would be cool to somehow mix the two winning categories and maybe call it "Fantasy Portraits Contest"? We could devide the ones that takes part into style, like those who does portraiture pair up and those that does more of the fantasy styled drawings pair up. Or we can just go with random partner picks but I somehow feel it's better to pair up with the ones we'd like.
I think it could include more members as I personally would prefer a more open theme than "just" a portrait. Let me know what you think.

I am putting together the text for the contest right now and will have it up before I leave to visit my family for a week.

If any of you would like to donate to this contest please add exactly what you would like to donate in this thread or a PM and I will add it as they come in. Hopefully I get some of it up before I leave.

You might want to pair up with Kaia then, I think she liked the Circus Freak theme too. You could always choose that theme for each other's portraits :)

I've made categories in styles instead of 1st-3rd this time. You can see when they are posted and decide if you want to donate differently and more.

I didn't get to post the contest up before I left, sorry. Sometimes time runs too fast. I will try and put the rest of the text together here at my parent's. If not it most certainly will be up Monday next week as soon as I get back.

I fear I wont be abel to participate this time. I couldn't guarantee finishing it in time which wouldn't be fair to my drawing-partner.

I could though offer a price if it's still needed: I started a fairytale themed watercolour ACEO which I would give away.

non of the above. I'm suggesting celebrities what do you guys think? I see lots of you here like to draw them a lot. I have many in mind to paint a portrait for them. I've read that you want to make a spring & summer contest too. It sounds also good.

Hmm, I actually wouldn't want a contest on celebrities because so many people draw them! It's less creative (to me!) to draw someone famous from a photo.
I actually think a self portrait one could be cool. But maybe a rule had to be you had to do it from life or add something conceptual to it?
